Silent Ember Panel ("the app") is a private production tool used by the owner of the YouTube channel Silent Ember Studio. It is not distributed to the public. It has no sign-up, no user accounts and no customers. The only person who authorizes the app is the channel owner, signing in to their own Google Account.
When the owner signs in with Google, the app requests these permissions:
youtube.upload — to upload finished video files to the owner's own channel.youtube — to set each upload's title, description, tags, thumbnail,
privacy status and scheduled publish time on that same channel.yt-analytics.readonly — to read that channel's own performance data
(views, watch time, average view percentage, subscribers gained) so the owner can
tell which videos worked.Google user data is used only to perform the action the owner started: publishing a video, or reading back that video's numbers. It is not used for advertising, profiling, training machine-learning models, or any purpose unrelated to the app's function.
The app runs on a single private server controlled by the channel owner. It stores:
Nothing is stored in a shared or third-party database.
Nobody. Google user data obtained through these APIs is never sold, transferred or disclosed to any other party. It never leaves the owner's server except in requests back to Google's own APIs.
Silent Ember Panel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The refresh token is kept only while the app is in use. The owner can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates the token. Deleting the token file on the server removes the stored credential. The local database can be deleted at any time; doing so removes all stored analytics figures.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
The app is not directed to children and is not accessible to anyone other than the channel owner.
